one thing i realized just now: when i entered into the relationship i wasn’t really thinking about what i wanted and what i expected from it. i didn’t ask him what entering into a relationship meant to him. i guess i just wanted to be swept off my feet. and i was. more than i ever expected to be.

and so now, i plan to enter a relationship with more thought involved. that doesn’t mean i plan to overthink and analyze the romance out of it. i just want both of us to know what we are getting ourselves into and what we expect to put into the relationship.
